Round 8 of the Illawarra district rugby league seen Collies taken on the Butchers in what turn out to be one of the games of the season so far.
The game went back and forward and both teams traded points and went into halftime with the scores locked at 10 all. The Butchers weren’t on their game after the break and Collies pulled away, the tides began to turn late in the game.
With less then a minute to go in the game and the Butchers behind by a converted try, would you believe us if we said to you this.
Thirroul Play the ball 25 out, dummy half flick passes to fullback who flick passes to half back, halfback kicks ball and hits centre in the head, picked up by winger and passed to backrower who is tackled but gets the ball away back to the half back who passes to the other backrower and onto the hooker who puts a kick in for the winger who scores in the corner.
