Butchers Sign Former International Trent Waterhouse

The Butchers continue their impressive off season recruiting with the signing of former International and NSW State Of Origin player Trent Waterhouse.

Trent has played in Grand Finals in the NRL and English Super League, a Kangaroo Tour, City/Country and English Challenge Cup bringing invaluable experience to The Butchers club.

At 6’4 and over 100kg, Trent brings size and aggression to The Butchers pack as they look to win The Illawarra Crown back to back, a feat that has eluded the club so far.

With the signing of Luke Swain and now Waterhouse, The Butchers now boast priceless experience at NRL level which added with an already impressive premiership winning roster, pus the club in a strong position before a ball has been kicked.

The Butchers have also announced that 1995 Grand Final winners Blake Eager and Keith Cole will be coaching the Under 19’s. Eager and Cole have both played hundreds of games in the local league and have a great passion for the club, ensuring the young up and comers are introduced into the Butchers grades by two of the clubs best.
