Butchers will play there second away game in a row this week against last start winners Collies.
The 3rd placed collie dogs made light work of Helensburgh last week and will be confident to return serve on their round 1 loss to the butchers.
Butchers coming off a very impressive game against cellar dwellers Berkeley last week where they cracked the half ton early in the second half. Leaking 18 points late in the second half was the only concern on what was otherwise a very good effort after the long weekend break.
The skipper Joel Johnson was at his bes,t jagging 3 tries with his never die attitude of always backing up the play, Blake Higgins was great again and is starting to really make that number 1 jersey his. Blakes linking game between 7 and 6 getting better and better each week.
I really thought Jack Noble had a big game wearing the 13, Mick Morris who was out with suspension left a huge hole in the team due to his enormous workload but Jack Noble was impressive filling in for the work horse.
Collies will be a huge test this week for the butchers, Thirroul looking to keep their spot at the top of the ladder and Collies looking to break into the top 2 for the first time this year.
Butchers will need all there loyal supporters to travel south this week and make some noise to assist in what’s going to be a great game.
Good luck to all grade this week
