Ryan Couchman beats a defender at the recent Regional Representative Finals

Ryan Couchman has been selected in the U18’s Country team to play City at Bankwest stadium in May.

The teams were selected following the Regional Representative Finals Day at H.E. Laybutt Stadium on 27-28 March with Central Coast Roosters winning the SLE Andrew Johns Cup (Under 16s) and SLE Laurie Daley Cup (Under 18s) and Monaro Colts the Open Age Men’s Country Championships.

Counchman, another product of the clubs very successful junior club stepped up into the U18’s last year. Ryan has played at Thirroul from u/6’s right through the ages to senior ranks in 2020 and no doubt will make his first grade debut in the near future

Couchman, a versatile forwarded that can play either back row, front row or even centre, a solid defender, quick foot work and good ball skills makes him a danger to any opposition.

Ryan has represented as a junior but his selection in the Country U18’s is his greatest honour to date.
